We are very lucky that they still choose to play so many dates. We are also lucky that they've never reached huge popularity requiring $200 tickets. They've earned the right to do whatever they want really. We all just have our own preferences.

I harbor no delusions about their (lack of) popularity, and I wouldn't want them to be any more popular than they are (see reasons #2-4 below). The problems with these tours where they open for crappy bands are as follows: 1. much shorter setlist 2. higher ticket prices 3. (sometimes) much larger venue 4. disinterested crowd. Not to mention that in the case of Blink, I detested them so much that there was no way I was going to let them get even one nickel out of me in ticket revenue.

No delusions going on here in that department. My whole gripe about this tour is only that Bad Religion is more talented, has better music, but will never be able to sell out shows like RA only due to the majority of people who listen to KROQ like shitty music IMO.[/quote]No question that BR is not bigger than Rise Against. When I see them in STL, I fully expect to be able to be on the railing with no issue. RA is a midwest band. I'm a fish out of water here. Nobody gives a shit about SoCal punk in STL. IMO BR would easily be behind Social D and NOFX, but partly due to the fact that they make no effort to tour here.
But, just because they are not the most popular, doesn't mean they aren't the best band ever!!!!!!

Vegas was 90% rise against fans. The energy in the place was fantastic when Rise Against was playing. You only get that at HOB style clubs for BR.

I was happy to hear so many of the new songs live, but the set was definitely too short.

I saw more people wearing BR shirts than I saw Rise against shirts, so I'm pretty sure there were plenty of BR fans there.

It was good to see them, but I can't wait for them to come around again on a normal headlining tour.

Even I though I hate that they are opening for anyone (yes, I understand why they are doing it), I would rather see them open for a band like Rise Against than a band like Blink.

I was encouraged when I saw the Vegas setlist at 15 songs. I hope this shorter version was only because of the Descendents. Does the dude from Rise Against do the sort-of rap portion of Let Them Eat War?

Disappointed that Cyanide and Before you Die seem to be fixtures in the setlist. There are soooo many songs I'd rather hear.

It almost seemed like they cut their playing time down so Rise Against could go on sooner, which is frustrating. At one point Greg joked that Rise Against opened for them when they were a new band and no one had heard of them. Can you tell I'm bitter that they opened for such an overrated teenie bopper band.

Who the hell is rise against ? And why is bad religion on a opening slot ? Would have went to the show and paid whatever the inflated ticket price was if bad religion was the headliner. Saw them as a kid for six bucks nice I have to pay fifty a ticket to take my kids now
