And I'm probably going to be the only one that doesn't like these covers. For one, I've heard these songs covered over 3 dozen times. Also, for some reason I don't like how artificial the vocals sound. But I blame society for that. Sorry :/
You're not alone my friend, I also think that these covers just suck

The grittiness of Suffer and the uniqueness of the No Control album sound coupled with Graffin's barritone is totally lost here, but they did a good job with them - I just don't understand why they pick those songs, what is this Offspring does a studio track of a live song on All Ages - might as well have just done bro hymm too. Him doing World Won't Stop off No Control would have been cool and fit his voice pretty well.
No reason Why sounds good with Dexter signing it. I'm sure Zoli wants no more to do with Pennywise, so when Jim inevitiblly leaves again, just have Dexter front pennywise.

I think it would be over-stating it to say they hate each other, or even ever did. They had a disagreement over contracts in the earlier Epitaph days, and the Argentinian show cancellation may not even be true (or other reasons, at least). In Greg G's words, any drama between the two was fairly dull and not worth noting. The tour will do Epitaph wonders, so I doubt they'll care about disagreements 15+ years ago... Or I might be entirely wrong, and they'll be avoiding each other like the plague.

Not a fan of Offspring, but these covers are good. They sound more dynamic than the BR studio recordings of these songs, Dexter is doing very good job singing them, although I don't like the polished production.

Are these covers available for download somewhere? Or do I have to rip them from YouTube and convert them to mp3?

Ahah, this is most likely a demo recorded at Dexter's own basement studio... no way the band went into a studio to record these...
Agreed. Drums are probably not real as well (MIDI). Guitars are DI'd. Although, I must say the bass sounds like Greg K. playing....good job from Dex if he did it.
At most, Dexter and Greg K. did it themselves. But probably, as Amoeba said, it's home-made. Which is pretty cool, meaning Dexter really cares.
Pete Parada said on twitter that it's him on drums

It would be nice for a band to take a stab at a few lesser known BR tunes.

Nice way to pay respect to BR. I wonder if BR or the other bands did covers of eachother's work or would that be too self-reverential. If so , would be a nice idea if they gave away free download codes at the shows for these songs during the tour

i was disappointed with the covers as well. something about putting dexter's voice to all of these songs, especially DWYW, feels odd and foreign and weird and i don't like it.

These might be the best bad religion covers ever. Because they modulated the chords(higher), it sounds completely fresh and full of energy.
