Mickey Lynch from olympiusaudio.wordpress.com hit up with Brian Baker for an audio interview during the Warped Tour stop in Camden, NJ.
In this interview, Brian talks about his career with Bad Religion, but also shares some memories about his experiences with his former bands such as Minor Threat, Dag Nasty, Junkyard, Doggystyle and Careless. To give a sneak peak here's what you can expect to hear in this interview. Did you...

Everyone knows that Bad Religion and ice hockey go hand in hand, so it was no surprise that the band decided to start its own Bad Religion Hockey Club (BRHC) in 1998. It was Edmonton DJ and music promoter Keith Rubuliak (aka Orange County Keith) who convinced them to kick off their No Substance world tour at Edmonton's Convention Centre on Saturday, March 28, 1998. The band not only played a show; they also played their very first charity game in Edmonton in front of 600 Bad Religion fans. Read here an old article about that 1998 show and here a review of the game.
On January 18, 2009, Greg Hetson took part in the second annual Luc Robitaille Celebrity Shoot Out, a charity event to benefit the Echoes of Hope Foundation.
Hetson came out for Team Hope, together with Cuba Gooding Jr., D.B. Sweeny, Jewish rapper Matisyahu, and co-coach Andie MacDowell. A review of this charity event can be found here. Some pictures of the event:
Recently MayorsManor, the 'unofficial Mayor of the LA Kings', hooked up with Greg to talk about his passion: (Kings) hockey. Greg explains how he got into hockey, shares his most memorable hockey moments, talks about DJing and the upcoming Australia tour, and also talks about his craziest (and probably scariest) Bad Religion experience: the 1994 San Sebastian show in Spain (read more about this incident in the Bad Times issue #2).

Yeah shortly after I got into the band I found out that they were into Ice Hockey and that Greg Hetson was a huge Kings fan. That's pretty awesome. One of these years the Kings have to turn it around.
The Flyers are my team heh go orange and black!

Let's go sharks ;)
If I remember correctly, I have an interview from late 90's where they said that they usually play hockey in the morning when they're on tour. If that's possible of course.
Or might be that I remember wrong :D Don't have acces to my collection at the moment :(
