It may come as no surprise, but the new official Bad Religion site has been launched today @ www.badreligion.com.
According to Brett it's still a work in progress, but so far it contains:
So, do you like what you see? Missing something? Were you expecting more/less?
I know what I'm missing: a link to the #1 Bad Religion fan site! :)
Apparently, a couple of new items were added to the Bad Religion store on kingsroadmerch.com:
Check them both out here: http://kingsroadmerch.com/bad-religion/
Jay was asked to answer 30 questions (what's up with the number "30" lately??) about.. well, everything and nothing I suppose.
Some example of the questions asked:
Q: The key to surviving for 30 years as a band is…
A: Tenacity + naivety x temerity = 30 years… (plus, don’t take it too too seriously. It’s not like it’s a cure for cancer or anything)
Q: True or false: I can identify which shoe/boot belongs to which band member on the cover of “80-85″?
A: True
Q: One Bad Religion lyric I particularly dislike is…
A: “It’s the way of the dodo”
Q: My favorite Gurewitz song is…
A: “All There Is”
Q: My favorite Graffin song is…
A: “Parallel"
Read them all here: http://www.yuppiepunk.org/2010/03/bad-religion-30-years.html
This news has been all over the place already, but what the heck. Apparently, Bad Religion's name will be aboard a rover sent to explore Mars.
A NASA astronaut and Bad Religion fan included Bad Religion's name embedded in a microchip that's set to be aboard the Curiosity rover that's set to be launched to rove around the Red Planet next year.

Switch the internet browser you're using. It didn't work for me on Internet Explorer but did with Firefox.
Isn't that very very weird, that they let you listen to Into The Unknown on their website? I thought the idea was they never wanted people to hear it again (sort of), at least never release it?
yeah I thought the same thing. And the mp3 I downloaded had an ID3 Tag and even album art. maybe it will be a digital release in the near future?

Wow, I remember when that was the site.
We'd all post on the message board, and in the forum...then one day Brett took all of that off the site. Understandably, though...it had pretty much degraded into "No, I like Bad Religion more, and here's why you're an asshole."
everything plays for me, but some songs are very short. I don't know if they did it on purpose or if it's an error. But a song like chasing the wild goose is only 20 seconds long and stops abrupt. no fade out or anything
Chasing the Wild goose plays all the way for me but the end of the album cuts off 20 seconds into the songs. Some songs dont have a play link yet. Theyre still working on it so theres a couple of bugs.

The new version of the Bad Religion website must have been copying some stuff off of Wikipedia, like for example: the release dates for Suffer, No Control, Against the Grain, 80-85 and Generator.

I liked it that the epitaph videos are in good quality. But I must say that I liked the older designs better, from 2002 and 2004. There's really not that much to do on that site. So this one way better. Also when I didn't wait for the album to load and clicked on "you've got a chance" I could actually download the mp3 :S So if you're a computer geek you can probably download shit for free hehe. Oh I tried it again. clicked really fast on the no substance album and hear it and now i have a free mp3 muhaha

So many errors in the lyrics on their wbesite! :(
But having the albums there to listen to for free is awesome enough to make up for that.

I'm gonna look at the cover of 80-85 and see if I can guess which shoe belongs to who now.
